This accommodation is intended for people who need seating in the front or otherwise close to a program’s presenters. Attendees with this accommodation will be permitted to bring one companion with them into the reserved seating area. Examples of needs that may be met by this accommodation include:
- Vision loss
- Visual processing issues
- Hearing loss
- Auditory processing issues
Please note that while this accommodation does not have an application in the signing halls or other non-panel-based activities, we do recognize that the signing hall is likely to get very loud, so we recommend that attendees who need assistance with hearing or auditory processing download one of the captioning apps listed here.
If this accommodation is the best choice for your needs, please request sticker type 3 for your badge at registration. This will allow our staff members to identify you as someone who needs to sit near the front without requiring you to advocate for yourself every time.
